Tue, 18 December 2007 The show has received quite a bit of email wishing Dan the best; and, wondering about the future of the show. I posted to a topic on The Miniatures Page that we would like to finish a show by Christmas and I would still like to get a show out by the end of the year; mainly, so Dan and I can tell you about how things are going. Needless to say, Dan is about ready to begin gaming again and will likely make our December club session. I, on the other hand, am fully enjoying being a student pilot and this new flying hobby is taking a huge amount of time betweem ground school studies and actual time in the air. I have a desire to paint miniatures and play war games; but, haven't been able to do so for several months. I believe I am becomming one of those old grizzled gamers who only get to play at conventions. It probably doesn't help that small plane ownership for me could be a real possibility; either alone or as a member of a partnership. I have some much needed vacation coming at the end of the year and Dan and I will try to get a show out to all of you. Thanks to everyone for being such loyal listeners. Sun, 30 September 2007 There will be no All About Miniatures show for September. Earlier this month John was too busy to get together with Dan for recording; and, more recently, co-host Dan developed an illness that required hospitalization (never fear, a full recovery is expected last I heard). We will roll what we have recorded for the September show into the October show. See you next month!

Sun, 26 August 2007 This month, John and Dan begin a new year of shows giving the Rattlehead Games Rules Review of Anima: Tactics as well as the game's associated line of miniatures. The show also contains a review of Historicon and a year-end review of the podcast, the future of the podcast and John and Dan's favorite games in each genre. Unfortunately Episode 13 is somewhat unlucky, however, as the number 13 jinx corrupted the mail call segment; so, this episode has no mail call. Sun, 1 April 2007 I finally got some time and was able to write down the realism modification discussed in the podcast. I also added a couple more that were not mentioned in the show. I've also included a handy quick reference sheet! Comments[4] |
