All About Miniatures Episode 4 begins with mail call which include John's comments about Fall-In has well as listener feedback.  John and Dan give their review of Aces at Dawn and announce our contest winner as well as review Baccus 6mm miniatures.  We then take a look at another magazine: Wargames Journal and finish, as always, with Battles in the Month (December).

All About Miniatures is having a contest in which you can win a copy of Aces at Dawn from Majestic Twelve games.  To enter in the contest, all you need to do is add your pin to the Frappr Map we have at the bottom of the page.  We will then randomly draw a winner before the next show using the list of pins on the map.  If you are the winner and agree to send us a report (written or audio) about your playing of the game, we will send you a copy.

Legal bits:  We will pay for shipping; customs duties and the like are your responsibility.  If the location you want us to send the game isn't the same as your pin on the Frappr Map, you will be disqualified.  We are only sending one copy of the game.  If the game is lost in shipment (which we will do our best to prevent) you are out of luck.

In part two of Episode 3, the show has another first with a Blast from the Past segment about the old Games Workshop game Man O' War before ending with Battles in November and details about our contest in which you can win a copy of Aces at Dawn from Majestic Twelve Games.

Episode 3 is another two part episode (something that might be permanent); and, in part one, John and Dan: respond to listener feedback in Mail Call, review Federation Commander and Starline 2400 miniatures, plus the show has its first interview with Jim Callahan of Majestic 12 games.

John and Dan continue their Flames of War review with Battlefront miniatures and also review Battlegames magazine.  Episode 2 ends with battles in October.

All About Miniatures makes it to Episode 2 and begins with mail call in which your hosts John and Dan spend entirely too much time answering the listener question "How did you get started in the hobby?"  We then continue with a review of Flames of War version 2.  Finally, rather than save content until next month, we split the show into two parts that will fit onto a CD based on listener feedback that some folks burn the show on CD and listen to them in that way.

In talking things over with Dan, it seems that releasing the podcast on the last Saturday (or weekend) of each month will be our goal.  That means the next episode should be ready on September 30th barring technical difficulties or family scheduling conflicts.  We will certainly post any scheduling problems here.

I also would like to show the picture that the podcast uses for iTunes promotion as I know not everyone uses iTunes.  It is a snapshot during one of our many WWII skirmish games.  Hope you enjoy it.
